Creatures intentionally created by Umbrella or other pharmaceutical companies to be used in combat situations. Once perfected these B.O.W.'s would be sold to their clients at high profit margins.
The Las Plagas parasite has many unusual and horrific mutagenic attributes. Although they are not fully understood, all observed occurences are documented here.
