The Global Pharmaceutical Consortium, of which Umbrella Pharmaceutical and Tricell, Inc. were prominent members, was comprised of the world's leading pharmaceutical corporations. It's exact details are unknown, but it is most prominent for being dragged into the aftermath of the Raccoon City incident due to the Umbrella Corporation's usage of medical methods devised by other members of the consortium. In order to regain public trust and avoid sufferring the same fate as Umbrella itself, the consortium supplied evidence for the prosecution in Umbrella's case within the Supreme Court.
Following the court case, the consortium established the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance to combat the growing threat of bioterrorism.
