H.C.F. was the private military unit managed by Albert Wesker. As it's name suggests, the unit specialises in the capture of biological entities for use in bio-weapon research. The unit was comprised of mercenaries hired by Wesker, and those who willingly followed him. The group's logo is that of two capsules crossed. 1
History
Albert Wesker established the unit a short time after the Mansion Incident, joining with The Organization around the same time. The only known H.C.F. mission took place on Rockfort Island on December 27th 1998. Since September 1998, a H.C.F. spy was planted on the island, and they gained access to all areas of personnel.2 Wesker used the information provided by the spy and co-operatively organized an attack on the island with his new employer. The information involved the T-Veronica virus.
Rockfort Island Incident
With the information provided by the spy, Wesker commanded the unit in an effort to obtain Alexia Ashford and the T-Veronica virus. The unit launched an air strike on the island in order to disable the island's security forces. During the attack, the T-virus leaked from its underground storage and quickly infested the island. The attack lasted no more than a few minutes before the entire island was completely decimated, with the group taking over 90% of the complex shortly afterwards.
Despite the unit's failure to obtain the body of Alexia Ashford thanks to the interference of Chris Redfield, they did manage to obtain the slightly modified strain of the T-Veronica virus from the dead body of Steve Burnside. As of the Rockfort Island Incident, it is apparent that Umbrella was already aware of their involvement and the spy on the island. However, not enough information could be gathered in time to prevent the attack.
Traits
The unit is known to have access to bomber jets, along with highly advanced technology. It is assumed that these were borrowed from The Organization, who employed Wesker and the unit to take part in the Rockfort Island attack. Members of the unit are dressed in black fatigues and combat gear, with the group's logo on the back.
